This is my first chopper project. What I started with was a big help. The bike in red is where it all began. I am making some improvements, to make the bike better than it was. The reason for the original tear down of the bike, was that the frame looked cracked under one of the upper motor mounts. As it turned out, the crack was only the huge amount of bondo that horribly plagued this bike. Needless to say, there will not be that much plastic on it again. The underside of the neck support braces was completely loaded with plastic, that was still soft after at least 8 years. What a hack-job. Anyways, I will get more pics up as we progress with the project.

Posted pics of the frame and fender as it was painted. The photos of the rockers for the springer are also posted. We made these out of 1/2" aluminum plate. Not a crazy design, but functional.
UPDATE!!!

Today, I rode to a local bike shop to get my carbs synced. It runs beautifully!
Tomorrow, the speedo gets installed. Then... She's finished!
